Hey everyone - a very successful day. Glenn was shuttled off very early for the "unveiling." They all got on the same page regarding timing and sequence of meds so, although there were excruciating moments, it was not the really really terrible ordeal it was before and was all over two hours later -- all is clean and fresh. Glenn was able to be a lot more present and all in all, the results are promising. The grafts are taking!!
Physical therapy begins tomorrow to waylay functional issues -- getting in to a wheelchair will be the task Saturday and Sunday, along with some exercises he is to do in bed. Monday, standing; Tuesday, walking with walker.
I think it is time to release some of that tension!!
Have gotten a few emails about the blog and how it works. I am a novice so all I can say is, select "comments" below any post if you want to write something.

Thank you for sharing so much. It helps to know what you and Glenn are going through. Let me know if you'd like me to drive you one day - or if there is something else I can do.
Love and more love to you and Glenn.

I had a lovely long talk with Glenn today. He is dedicated to making a full recovery and being as good as he was before. He is confident he can return to the museum to finish up that work and with stretching and excercise have full mobility! He is bummed about missing the Case Hubbell reunion but will try to do the great trip he had laid out in the future.
