Most of my time is spent with the staff either changing dressings on my body, discussing what may happen next as the days evolve, eating, and learning about my condition and progress. I try to stay positive and keep singing songs for the nurses as they dress my wounds....much more fun than screaming the pain away! It is the most uncomfortable process. The further surgery and second opinion was definitely the right thing to do. I will have a more comprehensive and complete recovery because my instinct inspired me to ask the question.
Thank you all for you well wishing and support. I am determined to pursue this program of PT.
This event has inspired a myriad of creative thoughts (including new short poems, spontaneous writings and philosophical thoughts). No TV. I have been totally immersed in my thoughts. I keep a log and now am attempting to reach out by way of this blog! Please bear with us as this becomes easy for all,
Including me......Thank you all again for your grace and support. Hope to be homeward bound soon.
First I have to re learn how to walk....I'm doing pretty well. Now it is a matter of stamina as well as mastering the other little things that are so easy to take for granted in day to day activity.

Dear Glenn,
Even tho we saw each other very little, I miss you because I know you aren't at home or wherever doing your Glenn thing and I know somewhat of what you are going through... thank goodness for this blog because it makes me know that you are suffering but also "alright", if that makes any sense.
We do take so much for granted in our daily ongoings.. thank you for making me more aware. Please let me know when and what I can do to help you... either now or when you are home. I am trying to make the most of my last days of not going in to work.
Love and Healing Thoughts your way,
Terra
I have fond memories of what a healing place your home is!!! Looking forward to visiting with you there. BIG LOVE from Amy & Brian Jenkins
