July 20 post #2 -- health advocacy

This from Glenn --
This most recent experience has impressed upon me that one should never just accept blindly whatever any professional may say to you as the absolute answer. It is important to demand the most scrutiny for any situation. If there's ever any question in one's mind about some one else's perception to get a second opinion of an equal or greater professional is paramount to getting at the truth and ultimately will save you time energy money and pain.
Thank you all for your supportive thoughts. At this point I'm grateful that my instincts will keep my body in the hands of these healing professionals and that I'm not subject to my own amateur attempts to just care for myself. People who speak with too much confidence should always be double - checked.

love and again, thank you for your support, Glenn

Hey Glenn and Beth
Sorry to hear that your trip home has been delayed - so disappointing, we know. Hopefully this short extension on your stay will help to shorten your recovery.
We cannot help but think that you need a distraction - if so, we have one for you. Last year, Lee and I went to a concert in Boston at a small theater at WGBH (public broadcasting in Boston). The concert featured Henry Butler, a jazz musician formerly from New Orleans, and Nancy Ostrovsky, a visual artist. It was one of the best concerts that we have attended - we would love to hear your impressions as well. The performance is online - and if you can get through to the end of his second song (20 minutes) you can see Lee in the front row. After you figure out where he is you may notice that he is in the video a LOT.
Hopefully your wifi can stream this kind of content - it was a great experience.

Hey Glenn,
Glad to have you on the computer and sending us your thoughts and feelings. Good luck with the surgery on Thursday and I am glad they are keeping you where they can keep an eye on things and you have 24/7 care.
Sending you much love.

Glen, your courage, strength and determination is very impressive and will go a long way toward repair, but the greatest therapy is friendship and love, which you have in abundance.

I'm uploading healing energy toward your recovery, so just rest and absorb the Light. Hang in there my friend.
